Introduction to the podcast

 Hi, my name is Fiona Morris, and I would like to, uh, introduce you to my informational, educational podcast for the cleaning industry, Made for More. Firstly, I would like to thank you for being here, but also share some of my own personal story. This podcast has been a long time coming. In fact, I've probably got about 20 episodes that I've recorded over years before I finally took the leap into sharing it with you. Made for more is a podcast that is specifically for people in and around the cleaning industry. There was a period of time in my life where I didn't believe that I was actually made for, destined for, or deserving of more. And when I talk about more, I don't mean greed. I mean abundance, happiness, love, more relationship. And yes, absolutely. More money, but even more importantly, more introduction to the tough conversations, the conversations that we're quite often not included in or invited to, such as conversations with financial planners, investment gurus, leadership coaches, breath workers, super fit people, super healthy people, wealthy, smart, wise people. And also those in the cleaning industry. So we're quite often overlooked in these conversations. I know that I missed out on learning a lot and our industry is actually rife with people talking about other people, not talking directly to people. We avoid conversations. And even as much as this week, I was sitting with someone who said, we didn't want this conversation to happen. The conversations are being had and they're either have been had by us, So I'm going to, um, split this into about three parts. The first part is my story as a cleaning business owner, a mum, an entrepreneur, someone who's been divorced, bankrupt, and now at seven figures. And my journey through the cleaning industry, into business, entrepreneurialism, and now my wealth creation. Because your cleaning business should become something that That creates wealth and abundance for you. Something that you don't end up giving your entire life for sacrificing your identity for, and giving up your physical fitness for. We are hurt and injured, and we are quite often stressed and frustrated. So that'll be the first part. It'll be my journey, what I've been through, and I will share that as much as I can. Then there's going to be the stories of our industry. I've already got 20 or 30 different types of cleaning business owners. with the most inspiring, absolutely empowering stories and how they've gotten to where they are now. For some of them, their success story has been getting out of, um, you know, violent situations, poor relationships, addiction, monetary stuff. It could also just be, um, we've got people coming from all over the world, sharing their stories. So their idea of success can be varied. And we've got entrepreneurs right up to the one, two, and even 4 million cleaning businesses that inspire us all. So it's their stories as well. And then finally, guest experts that I've hand selected from an array of industries. To come and talk to us about those things that we quite often don't get a seat at the table to talk about. Might be wealth creation, investment, Bitcoin or, you know, digital creation. It could be marketing, social media, leadership. And when the time comes that you might want to purchase a different business than cleaning. Business, entrepreneurialism, finances, family, problem solving, time management. Those are the conversations that we want to have. So I want to thank you for coming and joining us at Made For More. And you're going to see so many episodes coming through in the next few weeks. I'm absolutely thrilled that you are here. I am excited to get it done. And you know what? I could have sat here with makeup on, feeling all fancy, but I made a promise to myself that this podcast will be launched, created with 20 episodes by the end of the year.
